... a little Pikes Place blend coffee, a quiet table, macbook pro, study Bible and mute math in my phones ... so, so good.  I'm ready for an amazing weekend (NightLight/Awakening) at Real Church.  come check it out!

a day in "the D"

I spent some time on the rooftop and apartment this afternoon & evening.  It was so beautiful.  72 degrees and sunny... but, then, in typical Michigan fashion, the clouds began to roll in, wind began to blow, sky got dark, and air became cool.  Tornado watch, possible hail and heavy rain & lightning... and now, the weather channel says we might have SNOW by Sunday!  What?!!!  Crazy... ugh!

All in all, my day still turned out great.  Awesome time of prayer & study, followed by a couple really cool meetings with key staff guys, and then ending on the couch with my wife & kids!  Plus, the Tigers won!

        I will not allow clouds & cold air to determine
        whether or not the SON shines in and through me!

On a seperate note, here's something cool: I loaded a photo album (over there >>) with some rooftop, apartment & river side photos taken with my iPhone. just a glimpse into my little place on this planet.
